beautiful blogger award

Jelly and Glenice  have each nominated me for a beautiful blogger award.  I’m rather chuffed. Thank you so much for picking me, it’s very lovely to be recognised by fellow bloggers.

The rules of the award are

Thank the person who nominated me for this award.
2) Copy the award & place it on my blog.
3) Link to the person who nominated me for this award.
4) Tell us 7 interesting things about yourself.
5) Nominate 7 bloggers.
6) Post links to the 7 blogs I nominate.

Seven blogs,

I would have nominated Jelly and Glenice of course.  Thinking of others to nominate is hard as I wouldn’t really want to miss out any of my favourites from my blog roll. But here goes   I’ve only recently found this one. I love the humour, the insight. The lovely Rob and his exploration of living in London ( again).  Great photos Jenn’s life up in Muskoka, a breathtakingly beautiful part of Ontario.  NQLB hearing loss blog, a very recent CI recipient. It’s in German and as I don’t speak the language I use the online translators, but it’s worth it.  Sara now is a bilateral CI user.  She’s a musician and an engineer so her blog has a useful techy slant.  A deaf/hard of hearing blog based in the UK. beautiful beautiful photographs

Seven interesting things about myself……

hmm, define interesting……

I’m quite bossy, a bit of a know it all..on the other hand I don’t think very highly of myself.

I’m not terribly conventional, a bit scatterbrained.

I’m quite arty farty,  and wish I could get round to doing more painting and drawing.

(Struggling to think of anything more and they weren’t very interesting at all).

Oh, I used to hate writing, composition, essays etc, but now I quite enjoy writing this blog.

I like birds of prey – eagles, osprey, hawks. I once flew a Harris hawk the whole falconer thing with leather glove and dead chick bits. It was amazing.

I’d like to learn to drive a car rally style.

There, done.

  1. Thanks awfully for the award – much appreciated.
About the rally driving thing…refit the summer tires, but only on the rear wheels and head out onto unplowed roads at speed! Yeeha!
